How to Join


The Historical Society of the Georgia National Guard is dedicated to preserving the heritage of Georgia's military forces. Membership is open to anyone with an interested in the military history of Georgia. Annual individual membership is $30; $40 joint membership; and senior membership (55 or older) is $20. All members receive the Society's quarterly publication, The Journal, as well as the opportunity to participate in projects sponsored by the organization, including the publication of a comprehensive history, the establishment of a museum and the restoration of a French 75mm field piece, similar to one used by Georgia Guardsmen during the Great War. In addition, affiliation entitles members to participate on Society committees, and participate in the Society's annual conference.
